Little Devil Inside doesn’t have a solid release date just yet, but it looks like the game will be coming to the PS4, PS5 and, possibly, the Wii-U in 2022. There was a lot to take in, so I strongly recommend checking out the trailer above to catch all the details. The world of Little Devil Inside looks massive and has a very detailed overworld that provides an interesting contrast to the game's very cartoonish characters. At one point in today’s trailer he gets caught up in a snow blizzard and has to try and save his donkey companion from getting stuck in the snow. As Billy explores the world around him he’ll also do things like camp, cook up food, fish, and other such tasks in order to survive. Today’s trailer showed Billy doing a myriad of jobs including going to a mansion to get a package to deliver, but then getting kicked into a half-empty swimming pool and being forced to fight some tentacles. Players will take on the role of a young man named Billy as he goes around doing jobs for people. This game made its mark during its highly-successful Kickstarter campaign (that included a Wii-U port stretch goal) and today we finally got a glimpse at what players can expect from the game. Among them was the highly anticipated Little Devil Inside. The Kickstarter page explains that unusual things are happening in the world and the professor has hired the character to study these things in an effort to develop new technologies.Today during Sony's latest State of Play we got a glimpse at a number of third party titles that will be coming to the PS4 and PS5 in the next year. The focus on the old man suggests that he’s the professor that hires your character to explore and hunt monsters. The shots of life in the town, the old man specifically, show the juxtaposition between the monster hunters and the folks with “usual” jobs. The developers also mention people with “unusual” jobs like hunting monsters, which is what the player character does for a living. The trailer seems to depict life in the aforementioned town. The town itself will have its own set of events and elements to interact with. Unlike some other survival games, there will be a home town or city to return to and rest and prepare for your next mission. Considering that the original screenshots look and feel like the trailer shown today, it seems safe to assume that the original plans are still in place.Īs in real life, where a hard week’s work is rewarded by a relaxing or refreshing weekend, we wanted to create a world and provide elements within it where you can return back to town (or your home) after an adventurous mission to regather and reequip – a definite environmental contrast. The game is described as an “exploration focused survival action RPG,” or at least it is on the Kickstarter from five years ago. Check out the trailer below and consider your gob to be smacked. The South Korean developers gave out updates on the project, though there was no telling when it would see release.ĭuring today’s PlayStation 5 event, gamers everywhere were gobsmacked (that is, gamers that actually remembered the game) to see a showcase trailer for Little Devil Inside, which is now set to release as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Then it promptly disappeared, as things on Kickstarter sometimes do. It even reached a stretch goal that would see it released on Nintendo’s Wii U. It was successfully kickstarted in 2015, raising a total of AU$ 306,515. Remember Little Devil Inside? If not, that’s not surprising.
